Thursday Nite Bites: This is a great way to explore Old Town Arvada while tasting yummy food during Old Town’s monthly food tour event. Each month is inspired by a different local event, so your taste buds will always be getting something fresh and exciting.
Art Drop Arvada: The first Friday of every month is a night for artists and connoisseurs alike. Art Drop Arvada hides local art in public and community spaces throughout Old Town, and they post hints on Instagram @artdroparvada so you can follow along and join the scavenger hunt! The first person to find the art gets to keep it!
G.O. Time – Get Outdoors: Hosted by the Arvada Visitor’s Center and Majestic View Nature Center, this month-long event in July encourages participants to get out into nature and explore their surroundings. It’s a great way to get outdoors and to learn about the local plant and wildlife while making new friends.
Old Town Telescope Night: Attend this stellar free event in the town square on Friday, July 23rd! Hosted by the Arvada Visitor’s Center and Majestic View Nature Center, telescopes will be provided so that all may take a look at the wondrous beauty above that we can sometimes take for granted.
Bark in the Park: Bring your pup and make new friends with local dog-friendly businesses in Old Town Arvada. Not only will you meet new people, but you’ll help your community by cleaning up the dog park (supplies are provided). If you’re a dog lover, this event is for you!
Flying Cherry Concert Series School of Rock: On August 28th, Old Town Arvada, the Visitor’s Center, and the Flying Pig Burger Company will be hosting a concert to raise money for the Fallen Heroes Fund. Get rocking and help your community too!
